In the early 1980's I was sitting in the kitchen of a dear friend and once again caught myself not paying attention to what she was saying because I was so interested in a particular book on the shelf right behind her head. I finally asked about it and she said it was a gift from a mutual friend but that she had no interest in it. She offered it to me. The book was Psyche and Psychism by Torkon Saraydarian and it has been with me ever since. I devoted a lot of time to to this book and even though I seldom open it now, other than for reference, it is comforting to know it is here and it reminds me of my friend. Inside the book cover was a book list. Nearly a decade later when I began studying Transformational Kinesiology, many of the books on that list were either required or recommended reading. Both the book and the list originally came from a little bookstore called The Phoenix LTD., in Clintonville, a small residential area of Columbus, Ohio.
The following is a list of some of the books in my library. This is a work in progress and I will add to it as time permits.. |
